The Everett Approach to Education

Our style of engaged lecture, near-to-peer teaching and leadership, and unique brand of service learning all coalesce into a learning experience that doesn’t exist anywhere else in the world.

The Teaching Toolkit:

Our Everett Fellows and Staff are continually updating our Teaching Toolkit with easy-to-follow process guides for all levels of students interested in engaging in PIT. Here are some of our educational themes:

Utilizing Tech for Social Good

Tech skills including graphic design, story mapping, web design and more.

Emotional Intelligence

Developing the interpersonal skills necessary for social justice work.

Project Collaboration

Competently managing projects and collaborating with teams and clients.

Stories

The Everett Program acts as a PIT project incubator. We provide training and support for student teams who partner with nonprofits on ICT projects for the public good.

Student Stories provide a glimpse into the experiences students have had putting their learning into practice.

About the

Everett Toolkit Project

The Everett Toolkit started as a collaboration between Everett Program staff, Executive Fellows, and a team of three undergrad students. Our student team had no experience in web design, graphic design, coding, or web content creation.
